Bandai · NARUTO CARD GAME

Rules published so far

Bandai has published an introduction, not a full rulebook. This page sticks to it and flags everything else as provisional.

Deck composition

The official introduction describes a leader, fifty deck cards, five Chakra and one Summon: 57 physical cards. The site also phrases it as 51 cards plus six resources; both descriptions agree. The goal is to reduce the opposing leader's life to zero. Sources:0207

Card types

Summon is turned to deploy a character, and Chakra is used to activate face-down support cards. Ninjutsu is not a sixth card type in this introduction. Sources:07

What a sample card shows

Samples show DMG, POW and HP on characters and LIFE on leaders, plus colour, name, traits, number and ability text. A card can be a character and carry a Support effect, so abilities need costs, timing windows and conditions, not just an attack value. Sources:676869

What is not settled

Community reconstructions of the demos and a fan-made rulebook circulate, covering Chakra recovery, opening hand, mulligan, zones, priority and copy limits. They are not official. Deck validation here will only become strict when Bandai publishes the rules. Sources:36

Organised play

Bandai has announced store events and larger tournaments up to a world championship. Formats, the competitive calendar and restriction lists have not been published. Sources:02
